Property Manager

Our client is an owner / property manager of residential multi-family properties throughout Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn and Nassau County. They are looking for someone that has previous experience acting as a Property Manager working on a portfolio of rental residential properties. Their corporate office is located in Rockville Centre, Long Island and this position would be based on-site, working out of that office with periodic trips to the properties. (They have onsite parking)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the properties
  • Ensure the timely maintenance of all building operations and systems, including the coordination of upkeep maintenance work.
  • Supervised capital improvements, construction projects and renovations, vendor contracts and purchasing
  • Collecting rent and other property fees from tenants and individual owners
  • Paying property expenses, including taxes, mortgages, payroll, insurance premiums and maintenance costs
  • Reporting the property's financial status, occupancy and expiring leases to property owners
  • Meet with potential tenants, showing the property and assessing their applications.
  • The ideal candidate has experience navigating all applicable government agencies.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Property Manager
  • Experience with residential properties in NYC
