If you possess strong organizational skills and welcome a challenging position in a fast-paced environment, consider a career opportunity as a Property Transition Specialist with our organization.Responsibilities:
  • Track and ensure efficient completion of property onboarding and off-boarding.
  • Responsible for the collection of all necessary operational reports and data, contracts, banking information, and collateral needed for the successful onboarding of new properties.
  • Ensure timely and accurate property set-up within the property management software, including property, banking, tenant, and other information, as necessary.
  • Audit receivables/payables for accuracy and completeness.
  • Catalog hardware at the site level and report to IT department prior to, or as soon after the management transition date as possible to ensure effective set-up at the property.
  • Analyze telecom (telephone/internet/cable/etc) and other service contracts and needs at the property to determine adequacy and to ensure contracts are in the proper name and are being billed properly.
  • Review and transfer utilities, as needed, and ensure all invoices are being received. Coordinate transition and or set-up of third-party utility invoice processing companies to Yardi Yes, or other, as determined.
  • Provide initial new employee training, either onsite or via webinar.
  • Other projects and property management related tasks and duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent computer software skills with working knowledge of all MS Office Products
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple requests and obligations to facilitate a smooth, organized workflow; ability to determine urgency of issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service/consulting/collaborating skills
  • Presentation/group facilitation skills
  • Must be able to interact with all levels and disciplines of employees
  • Property management or real estate experience preferred
  • Experience managing projects
  • Yardi experience preferred
