Qualifications:

Current professional license or permit to work as such by NYS Education department or who has a master's degree in a mental health field from NYS and registration/certification by the American Art Therapy Association, American Dance Therapy, American Association for Music Therapy, etc., required. Examples include; however, are not limited to Creative Arts Therapist, CASAC, MH Counselor, Nurse Practitioner, etc. Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) preferred. Examples include; however, are not limited to, Registered Nurse, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, etc. Two years related experience in Mental Health field required, including internships. Demonstrated commitment, sensitivity and creativity in working with individuals who are diagnosed with Mental Illness. Must possess assessment/evaluation skills. Demonstrated computer competency. Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills as well as leadership skills. Ability to work in a changing environment, be flexible and demonstrate knowledge of and ability to work with other service providers. Valid NYS Driver's License in accordance with Agency policies; ability to travel as needed.

Full time, 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8am-4pm.

Grade 14 hourly: Min: $22.79 Mid: $27.36
