Prospect Development Student Worker - Oklahoma State University Foundation : Job Details

VISION: Transform the university through the power of generosity.MISSION: Unite donor passions with university priorities to elevate the impact of Oklahoma State University.PRIMARY PURPOSE: This position will provide support to the Prospect Development team including, but not limited to, prospect engagement, maintaining accurate data and general prospect development support.KEY AREAS OF FOCUS: Job Responsibilities and Expectations-

• Assist Prospect Engagement Senior Analyst with documenting activity after a prospect referral, including contact, visits, proposals, and gifts
• Assist with reviewing contact reports, strategies, and other database documents for indicators of affinity and marking the appropriate funding interest in the system
• Assist with uploading referral data into database on a consistent basis, checking for accuracy
• Assist with updating referral briefings with fundraiser feedback
• Assist in retrieving donor contact information via LexisNexis and/or other fee-based resources
• Assist with general database (Salesforce ascend) questions as needed
• Assist with Prospect Engagement/Prospect Research projects as directed
• Other duties as assigned

JOB COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:

• Current full-time enrollment in a bachelor's or graduate degree program
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of the job responsibility
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail a must
• Proficient computer skills with basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Cooperative attitude with a desire to learn
• Minimum of 10-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday (and continuing through the fall/spring)
