Job Overview:

A leading design, engineering, and project management organization is seeking a skilledProtection&Controls Engineerto ensure the safety and stability of power distribution networks. This role involves developing protection and control schemes, conducting power system studies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create efficient and reliable electrical design packages for medium and high voltage substations.
  • Design and develop protection and control schemes for power distribution networks, ensuring safe and reliable system operation.
  • Conduct power system studies and analyses to identify potential issues and optimize performance.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling power distribution networks.
  • Work closely with engineers, project managers, and field personnel to successfully implement protection and control solutions.
  • Provide technical support during installation, testing, and maintenance of systems.
  • Stay current with industry standards and best practices related to power system protection and control.
  • Meet project timelines and deliverables while maintaining high work quality and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Protection&Controls engineering.
  • Experience within the power utility sector.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD software.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
  • Background in high and medium voltage systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

Salary Range:Up to $157,000, commensurate with experience.
