Provider Education Specialist - Ametros : Job Details

The Provider Education Specialist is the main point of contact for high level provider communication. The Provider Education Specialist will be responsible for connecting with and educating providers about Ametros, CareGuard and our other products to help ease the claims management process.?

• Educate providers on professional administration services and appropriate billing processes
• Develop and maintain relationships with large provider groups nationally
• Collaborate with Member Care, Member Onboarding, Provider Onboarding and Sales on complicated cases
• Perform training, orientation and coaching for performance improvement within the network and assist with claim resolution
• Serve as a primary contact for provider escalations and act as a liaison between the provider and CareGuard.
• Effectively respond to external provider related issues?
• Investigate, resolve and communicate provider claim issues and changes

• 3+ years' experience in provider call center, provider relations or provider networks
• 3+ years' experience in healthcare or the workers' compensation field
• Working knowledge of medical or workers' compensation billing, and/or claims processing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Microsoft Office programs, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and more.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicare Set Aside Accounts
