Psychiatrist Nurse Practitioner (NPP)REPORTS TO: Medical DirectorInterborough Developmental and Consultation Center is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP/NPP) to work in our behavioral health article 31 outpatients clinic.*QUALIFICATIONS:** Masters of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.* Must be a NYS Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in Psychiatry.* ANCC Certification required* ASAM Certification required;* At least 2 years of experience.*BASIC FUNCTION:*The NP will work collaboratively with mental health providers and practice with the guidelines set by NYS Health Department laws, NYS Office of Mental Health and NYS Education Department licensing guidelinesJ*OB FUNCTIONS:*1. Evaluation and Assessment.2. Medication Evaluation3. On-going pharmacologic treatment5. Participates in incident review as needed6. Participates in treatment planning7.
