This role oversees the day-to-day operations and coordination of the department's administrative functions and project management. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences, health sciences, psychology, public health, or related field.Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience in research, clinical, or academic setting. Experience within a mental health environment, preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of functions related to clinical research studies, project management, and grant management. Proficiency using computer software applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to effectively use interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to be detail oriented and to organize/prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines. Ability to maintain professional and courteous during highly stressful and fast-paced situations. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Provides comprehensive administrative and strategic support to the LIBR Scientific Director. Manages calendar, correspondence, and project completion timelines. Conducts preliminary literature reviews, manages bibliographies, CV and biosketch for department head. Coordinates the logistics of conferences, workshops, and seminars. Enhances LIBR's outreach and impact within the scientific community. Oversees project management aspects of various research endeavors, ensuring milestones are met within timelines and budgets. Prepares reports and presentations for board meetings and monitors process towards strategic goals. Acts as a liaison between the research team, healthcare professionals, policy makers, and stakeholders. Assists with grant management tasks, including drafting budgets, compiling documentation, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. Decision Making: The carrying out of non-routine procedures under constantly changing conditions, in conformance with general instructions from a supervisor.Working Relationships: Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction.
