The psychologist will provide clinical services and contribute to wellness initiatives, research, academic and training activities of the center.The mission of the MB-CRC is to improve the mental and physical health of individuals and communities through providing holistic clinical services, conducting basic and applied cutting-edge research, and training tomorrow's clinical research leaders, especially individuals with diverse identities and backgrounds.The MB-CRC is also a member agency of the Stony Brook University Consortium Training Programs in psychology including a local externship, APA-accredited internship, and a post-doctoral training program.Shifts totaling forty hours per week, including the possibility of evening hours; 50-100% of appointments/work via telehealth.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Ph.D./PsyD (or foreign equivalent) in Clinical Psychology from an APA or PCSAS-accredited University. New York State license or eligibility. Experience with conducting psychological evaluations and providing cognitive-behavioral therapy and other evidence-based psychotherapy. Experience with providing supervision to psychology trainees. Full time availability.Preferred Qualifications:Bi-lingual (Spanish-English). Training and experience in Women's Mental Health. Research program including record of peer-reviewed publications.
