Posting DetailsPosition Information Job Title Psychology - Part-time Guest Faculty Position(s) Fall 2024 & Spring 2025 Classification TitleRank Guest Faculty Tenure Information Non-Tenure Track Job Description Sarah Lawrence College invites applications for one-semester or one-year, part-time guest faculty position(s) in psychology in fall 2024 and/or spring 2025. Strengths in adult and/or child clinical psychology, neuroscience, developmental psychology, positive psychology, and/or cultural and global perspectives are particularly welcome.These positions include teaching both undergraduate and master's level graduate students in both small lecture and small seminar classes at both the introductory and more advanced level. In addition, we expect that some courses might involve supervising students doing course related fieldwork in community settings or at our campus laboratory preschool, as well as individual work with students.Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, course descriptions for two proposed courses, a statement of teaching philosophy, and a sample of scholarly writing. Please include a consideration of diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and belonging in your teaching statement. In addition, applicants should provide the names and contact information for three professional references.Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Compensation listed for this position is for a full-time tenure-track faculty position and will be contingent on teaching experience.Required Qualifications A doctorate in psychology or an allied field is preferred.
