Your role as a PT Children's Assistant
As a Children's Assistant under the general supervision of the Children's Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in creating an engaging library environment for young patrons. Your responsibilities will include assisting library users, decorating spaces, and supporting a variety of programs and special projects tailored for children and young adults. While most of the training is hands-on, you'll develop essential skills that will allow you to perform routine tasks independently. Although this position requires a solid foundation of general knowledge and clear thinking, constant supervision is not necessary, enabling you to showcase your problem-solving abilities. Whenever guidance is needed, you will have direct access to the Children's Supervisor, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
