Public Works Technician - City of Sandpoint Idaho : Job Details

INFORMATION REGARDING COMPENSATION:The full salary range for the position is $25.13/hr. - $34.72/hr. The general hiring range for the role is $25.13/hr. - $28.90/hr. The hiring salary will depend on the candidates experience, qualifications, and education. The primary function of an employee in this class is to perform a variety of skilled technical duties related to private development and City Capital projects to ensure compliance with City and other applicable codes, policies and procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring construction associated with new development and City Capital projects, permitting work within and use of the Right-of-Way, and accepting or rejecting public infrastructure improvements. This is a journey-level technical position that requires extensive knowledge of construction methods, with emphasis on knowledge and experience in public works related construction.
