Pump Mechanic/Technician - Evac Group : Job Details

Evac North America is currently seeking an individual with strong mechanical experience (machine and/or motor repair) to be a full-time Pump Mechanic/Technician for our Cherry Valley, IL location. No prior experience with centrifugal pumps is required as comprehensive training will be provided. The standard schedule for this role is Monday through Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm, Friday 6:00am-10:00am. The hourly rate offered for this position will range from $24 - $26 based on your mechanical background and prior work experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Overhaul and test centrifugal pumps and other products, including cleaning, disassembly, inspection, reassembly, and testing.
• Operate equipment during overhaul such as parts washing machine, bead blasting machine, lathe, jib crane, forklift, and test stand.
• Adhere to established procedures for testing and assembly.
• Create detailed pump inspection and test reports.
• Provide backup support for production assembly and inspection.
• Handle manufacturing orders as assigned by the Manager or Team Lead.
• Local Travel on occasion (
