Dana Safety Supply is seeking Purchasing Assistant to coordinate the purchase of products and material. Work with current vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of the product.
The position involves working with vendors, assisting Purchasing Manager with price control of products, ensuring pricing on PO is accurate, and maintaining good communication with vendors.
Responsibilities include:
* Work with Vendors to ensure timely delivery and accurate product is being delivered
* Assist Research & Development and Quality Assurance with document control
* Monitor all purchase orders, both outgoing and incoming.
* Assist Purchasing Manager with price control of product
* Maximize Purchasing Opportunities by utilizing all Vendor Special Pricing
* Maximize all inventory in stock for open orders making accurate decision on ordering product through a Purchase order or using stock on hand in all warehouses.
* Maintain Good Communication with Vendors
* Ensure all pricing on Purchase order are accurate prior to submission
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
* Proficient with online systems to include but limited to application portals,
* Proficient with Microsoft 365 Office Suite; Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, OneNote, Project and PowerPoint.
