To keep aMaterials Management inventory of supplies and equipment to meet routine andemergency needs in all areas of the hospital. This person is responsible forkeeping stock of all items needed for quality patient care. This involvesordering, stocking shelves, restocking of supply carts as needed, and filing ofdepartment material. : Comprehensive knowledgeof nursing procedures, typing skills, calculator skills, good communications,courteous, good telephone skills, knowledgeable of CHS Policies and Procedure,requires moving of objects weighing 60 pounds or more. Requires pushing/pullingof carts weighing to 200 pounds. Ability to organize and handle large volume ofmaterials. Good math skills and good health.
