JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Logistics & Purchasing Coordinator sources material and coordinates material deliveries to optimize Tri City Glass & Door resources. They also support the effective maintenance of inventory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: Use personal protective equipment per Tri City Glass & Door and contractor policies. Make purchasing decisions with direction of Supply Chain Manager. Maintain vendor lists. Assist Accounting with month end preparation. Review of sales postings daily. Source, compare and analyze pricing for most cost effective purchasing decisions. Communicate shipping status and updates to project managers. Organize transfer of necessary inventory between stores. Set daily delivery schedule routes for efficiency and time saving measures. Communicate arrival times. Label material upon receiving and maintain order & freight tracker. Update pricing in system, as needed. Receive and post purchase orders in system. Maintain and monitor inventory in the parts room and warehouse. Perform other duties as assigned. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate\'s degree a plus At least one year purchasing/financial/administrative experience. Excellent computer skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
