Job Description :

Seeking a proven track record of successfully managing a team of buyers (minimally 3) in a corporate setting with multiple locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the purchasing strategy, planning integrity, and purchasing training process.

Responsibilities

  • Procure parts and materials at negotiated rate
  • Develop a supply and production plan to ensure proper inventory levels
  • Create and monitor the performance of the purchasing strategy
  • Support our purchasing staff to meet established KPIs like inventory turns, order fill, cost reduction.

Qualifications

  • BS in Supply Chain or related field
  • Strong leadership/negotiation skills
  • 5 years' of sourcing experience and 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong Excel skills and MRP a plus
