Department: SS ProcurementProperty: River Spirit Casino ResortLocation: Tulsa, OK, US, 74137Full-Time/Part-Time: Full TimeSummary:Responsible for all procurement activities for the department. This includes but is not limited to purchase requisition development and approvals, coordination of receiving functions with staff and vendors; inventory management and control of stock replenishment and timely receipt of product into inventory. Analyze changes or new issues in materials and supplies to find ways to reduce costs and deliver values to the end-user. Lead in a front line capacity to record, track, and keep abreast of any changes that might affect the demand, as well as the supply and the need for products, materials, and information that make a positive difference in achieving company projections and goals. Escalate issues or provide information to immediate Supervisor for resolution.Responsibilities:1. Lead in the administration, application and daily management of purchasing duties for the department. 2. Develop and implement Purchasing and Contract Management instructions, policies and procedures. 3. Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sale; monitor vendor sourcing and quality/cost of goods. 4. Interview and hire staff and oversee staff training and performance. 5. Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or alternates. 6. Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs. 7. Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. 8. Organize, plan and prioritize information to accomplish goals of department. 9. Understand, train, and execute management of purchasing and related documentation, contracts, and inventory. 10. Guide, direct and motivate subordinates with proper direction for setting performance standards and monitoring performance. 11. Evaluate information to determine compliance with laws, regulations and or policies of the property. 12. Establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them. 13. Review, evaluate and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids. 14. Ensure all documentation and inventory is accurate, timely, and in alignment with business goals & objectives. 15. Lead and supervise Procurement team in the implementation of the updated software program for the ERP. 16. Supervise RFQ and RFP documents for development in preparation of bids for the purchase of goods and services. 17. Conduct research and analysis of potential contracts and possible impacts from them. 18. Assist Contract Manager in process of contract review and any applicable changes and communicate these changes to management. 19. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. #ind1
