Purchasing Manager - Phoenix Global : Job Details

Phoenix Global offers a full-service menu of Mill Services with US and International experience. Our Full-Service Menu includes marketing-focused slag scrap management, innovative production support, intelligent transport and handling logistics, professional maintenance, customized protective packaging, and technology-driven project management . We are looking for a Purchasing Manager in our Radnor, PA office.

Purchasing Manager Responsibilities

• Manages procurement and purchasing operations and implements the strategy to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing.
• Maintains strategic supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and implements systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain
• I mplements processes and systems and utilizes technical tools to analyze data and increase responsiveness to material demands.
• Works with other team members to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels.
• Oversees auditing processes to ensure procurement and recordkeeping comply with any applicable industry or governmental regulations.
• Adherence to approved budgets.

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree

Experience Required

• 5 years' experience in the related area
• 3 years of supervisory experience may be required

Travel Required

• 30% Travel will be required

The Purchasing Manager will have direct reports.
