Job Description :

Great opportunity to join a growing medical products company! Responsible for the day-to-day purchasing of material and products to support sales demand and timely customer shipments along with overall management of forecasts, inventory levels, inventory topics, and suppliers. Selects suppliers, manages inventory levels, and coordinates with shippers, expeditors, port authorities, and transporters to ensure seamless shipment logistics.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensures adequate material supply to support fluctuating customer demands
  • Partners with internal and external suppliers to ensure they are meeting our delivery expectations.
  • Maintains accurate material parameters/settings to support future business growth
  • Partners with Sales and Marketing teams to drive accuracy in customer ordering forecast
  • Navigates international logistics with external suppliers to streamline deliveries and optimize freight costs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 5 years experience in purchasing/material management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc)
  • MRP experience – preferably SAP
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Customer-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
