Purchasing Specialist - Radford University : Job Details

Serve as lead procurement specialist for Facilities (FM) and primary point of contact for FM Vendors and Accounts Payable with frequent communication with internal and external constituents. Responsible for purchasing a wide variety of goods/services for over 25 budgets, work with Procurement in identifying correct instrument to purchase and meet deadlines (PO, Blanket, IFB, Quotes, S - Wa. M, ect), provide guidance to shop foreman in obtaining critical goods/services in timely manner, accountable for timely invoicing for both internal and external constituents, address vendor invoice issues that are not compliant with contract, responsible for FM procurement records, analyze data in various databases to resolve issues that arise in the procurement process. Follow state guidelines, review and maintain credit card records, resolve any discrepancies or problems prior to submission.
