Location : Boston, MA (Onsite) / Onsite Interview

Software (Python & SQL) Development specialist

• Strong skills in Python & SQL Development

• Hands-on Application developer analyst level contracting role that involves building Web application Front End/Back End.

• Responsible for building and maintaining firm's strategic business system that processes Investment Trading activity , pre and post trade functions, Reference data & Risk reporting.

• Reference data & Risk reporting.

• Key stakeholders Team works with are :

• - Front office: Trading desks , portfolio managers to support pre-trade functions to manage pipeline planning, unfunded commitments , compliance checks and trading activity in the internal business systems that are integrated with upstream and downstream vendor platforms.

• - Risk team: primarily for Credit, Interest, Liability & Liquidity risk functions and Asset liability matching

• - Middle Office: Investment Operation processes for post trade life cycle activity such as Maintaining Security Master, Portfolio and Entity master reference data, Process Corp Actions, Trade Confirmation & Clearance , Settlement processing , process periodic remittances until maturity

• Back Office: Treasury Operations for Internal/External wire payments, Cash flow projections

• Mendix Low Code experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Candidate will be part of Risk and Investments IT team and primarily be responsible for solving Business needs in Post Trade & Reference data functional area. Majority of the deliverables in the initial period would be around Financial Security Master & Processing of Corporate Actions. Candidate would also get opportunities to be involved in other reference data & pre/post trade related functional deliverables

• The role will follow modern SDLC principles, test driven development, source code reviews, and change control standards to maintain compliance with policies. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong technical ability, excellent communication and collaboration skills including the ability to develop and troubleshoot a diverse range of problems and influence stakeholders to get consensus on key decisions to ensure project deliveries are made under tight deadlines.

Required Technical Qualifications and Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in Financial services is a must with basic understanding of Bonds, Loans, Mortgage-backed securities.

• Specific Prior experience in Corporate Actions or Security Master area is a must. Knowledge or experience in other Pre-Trade or Post-Trade areas such as Trade Allocations Booking/Confirmations/Settlement , Account/Entity master would be an added plus.

• Degree: Bachelor's degree required
