Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

What You'll Do

  • Develop & Execute Test Strategies: Create comprehensive test plans, scripts, and execute tests to ensure systems meet business requirements.
  • Diverse Testing Expertise: Conduct back-end, functional, regression, cross-browser, and mobile testing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and team members to replicate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
  • Defect Management: Log detailed defect reports and track issues to resolution.
  • Agile Participation: Engage in daily scrums, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Resourceful Support: Serve as a technical resource for the QA team, tackling complex business and technical challenges.
Key Requirements
  • Experience:
  • 7+ years in QA across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
  • 5+ years in QA testing (functional and regression) with hands-on experience.
  • 3+ years as an API tester using Postman.
  • 5+ years of working with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL, or MySQL).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Advanced SQL skills (ability to write and optimize complex queries).
  • Deep understanding of API concepts: REST APIs, API verbs, API security, and error codes.
  • Proficient with Postman for API testing and scripting.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and modify JSON files, headers, and parameters.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Test Rail, Quality Center).
  • Familiarity with Mulesoft/Anypoint Exchange, cucumber, rspec, Jenkins, or GitLab is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to follow through on issues.
  • Self-starter with proven time management and collaborative abilities.
  • Education:
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
