Job Description :
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards • Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits • Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product features to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables • Analyse and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements • Pursue continuing education on new solutions, technology, and skills • Help to maintain, and improve, the code quality and organization • Lead a team of QAs, and ensure that deadlines are met, and quality checks are maintained to an acceptable standard • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and mentor a team • Work closely and cooperate with our stakeholders (Product team, and developers) to always ensure a defect free delivery • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues EXPERIENCE MUST HAVE: • 10+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years of experience leading a QA team • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices, including automated testing and test-driven development • Builds and maintains CI/CD Automation process and execution (we use Jenkins) • Responsible for managing the definition, implementation, and integration of quality principles into the design and development of software and IT processes for the team • Monitors and tracks resolution of defects: Designs, monitors, and analyses quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect counts, test results, and test status • Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies and techniques • Experience with Source Control (git), Continuous Integration and various testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Karate, SOAP UI, JMeter, etc.,) • Experience on testing and integration with SOAP and REST based Web Services • Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python or JavaScript • Exposure to performance testing NICE TO HAVE: • Past experience with fintech firms REQUIRED EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field - Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices, including automated testing and test-driven development
