QA IV - Apex Systems : Job Details

Job description - As a manual API tester you will work on a fast-paced scrum team to ensure the OCBO APIs are tested and working per the design and spec.These APIs are RESTful APIs with JSON data where we use postman to validate each API works as expected.You will collaborate with members of your scrum team as well as external teams to learn and understand the requirements and how to validate the APIs function as expected.Testers also attend all the agile ceremony meetings working closely with the scrum master and product owner to ensure testing is on track.When deploying code to higher environments you will be responsible for testing your stories in the higher environments.Once you are comfortable with postman testing, you may venture into automated testing where you will write your own automated tests to validate your user stories.Skills: • Proficient in Postman • Proficient in API/UI testing • Nice to have Telcom experience and ordering experiencePluses: • Proficient in Java • Proficient in RestAssured • Proficient in developing Jenkins jobs • Working knowledge of TestNg • Extent reporting • Telecom or ordering experienceEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
