We are looking for a dedicated QA/QC Specialist to join our talented Mission Critical Data Center team. Position Responsibilities Inspection and Auditing: Conduct routine inspections and audits of data center facilities, including electrical systems, HVAC, security, and other critical infrastructure components to ensure compliance with standards and procedures. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of data center construction and maintenance work to identify and address any deviations from the prescribed standards, specifications, and best practices. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and discrepancies, and prepare comprehensive reports for management and regulatory purposes. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and standards and ensure that the data center follows all legal and safety requirements. Troubleshooting: Investigate and diagnose issues related to data center equipment and systems and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve them promptly. Testing and Validation: Perform tests on data center equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, fire/life and safety, and security systems, to confirm their proper functionality. Suggest Improvements: Continuously look for opportunities to enhance the efficiency, safety, and reliability of data center operations, and propose improvements or upgrades as necessary. Vendor Relationships: Maintain relationships with equipment vendors and service providers, ensuring that they adhere to agreed-upon standards and deliver quality services. Qualifications & Requirements High School diploma or equivalent A minimum of 5 years experience in data center QAQC or other construction QAQC. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite software, including Teams, is required. Experience with Procore software, is preferred. Familiar with Bluebeam Studio/Revu. Experience with SharePoint. Experience with file-sharing platforms. OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR certification (IPS will provide tools) must be maintained during employment. Commissioning and System startup experience is a plus. Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record. Ability to successfully pass a drug screening test, 10 panel DOT approved, and background/security checks for on-site project access. Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Context & Safety Travel based on the project location. Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time. This position is a safety-sensitive position. The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work on an active construction site.
