Our new state of the art Exeter location is set to open in Summer of 2024 and will raise the bar in precision manufacturing - come and join us! C/A Design, an industry leader in the manufacturer of complex aluminum dip and vacuum brazed assemblies, is seeking a talented, 1st Shift Quality Inspector to join the team. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for performing all aspects of inspection on complex aluminum parts and final assemblies for the Aerospace and Defense industries. This is a critical role within the quality team and requires a detailed mind set. This individual will be expected to embrace and exhibit our culture of honesty, integrity, and good corporate citizenship. This role reports directly to the Quality Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Strive towards a culture of proactive safety.
  • Mechanical inspection of CNC machined and brazed components
  • Operate CMM for in-process and final inspections. Experience is a plus, but training will be provided as needed.
  • Final Inspection
  • Visual Inspection of finished components and assemblies
  • Practical understanding and application of GD&T
  • Completion of inspection documentation
EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Previous machine shop quality experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand drawings/blueprints
  • Basic understanding of GD&T preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to use basic mechanical inspection tools: calipers, micrometer, pin/plug/thread gauge, height stand, indicator.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal communication skills
