Please note that this compensation information serves as a general guideline. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Perform laboratory testing on process control samples utilizing a wide variety of analytical instrumentation • Calibration and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation• Preparation and standardization of laboratory reagents• Analytical support for improvement projects• Analytical support to other departments including Environmental, Health Physics, and Maintenance • Ensure compliance with all ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards within the laboratory• Perform work and activities within the framework of the Honeywell Operating System• Obtaining routine samples and performing analysis within the operating facility when required • Regularly engage in tasks that require manual dexterity, including using hands to manipulate objects and tools. The role involves frequent standing, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and occasional walking while carrying samples. Employees must also possess the ability to smell when necessary.• Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 10 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds. Specific vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS:Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.YOU MUST HAVE:• 1+ years of experience in Analytical Chemistry LaboratoryWE VALUE:• B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry or B.S. in Science with 21 hours chemistry• Computer skills including Excel and Word.• Familiarity with laboratory equipment listed: ICP/MS, AA, FTIR, UV-VIS, KPA, and Karl Fisher Titration• Self-directed with a strong bias towards action• Ability to work independently to complete daily tasks• Attention to detail a mustAdditional Information
