We are looking for a Logistics associate to assist with the management of supply chain activities. You will support the logistics manager in coordinating the transport and storage of products and materials. Your duties will include maintaining a three-week look ahead schedule for vendors, receiving deliveries, preparing shipments, communicating with Project Managers and carriers, tracking shipments, and managing inventory.
To be successful as a logistics associate, you should be able to maintain shipment records in digital databases and ensure that shipments are delivered according to schedule. Ultimately, a top-notch Logistics Associate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage the flow of incoming and outgoing goods with minimal supervision.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with our vendors/components to pick up and deliver orders.
- Taking inventory on orders that have been picked up or delivered to SISCORP. Checking the quality of the orders to ensure it meets SISCORP's standards for our customers.
- Loading and offloading trucks (using a forklift for this task)
- Identifying qualified freight companies for SISCORP to use.
- Delivering items to job sites when needed.
- Getting quotes and booking Trucking companies to haul SISCORP loads from vendor facilities and our warehouse.
- Communicating and working with Logistics Manager and Project Managers on any issues that need to be addressed and expedited for each job.
- Coordinating with Project Managers on delivery of each job.
- Work independently to complete tasks promptly.
- Sending out Weekly Schedules to vendors and trucking companies (2 to 3 weeks out). Letting vendors know what orders are coming up and direct them on which trailers to load for each order. Coordinate with trucking company on the location they will pick up our loads, where they are going, and the time and date of delivery.
- Determining how trailers are to be loaded for max efficiency of loads/trucks.
- Making sure all material Purchase Orders are picked up in time to meet shipment of jobs' completion to jobsite.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificate preferred
- Clean driving record
- At least 3 years previous experience in logistics management
- Experience in industry procedures, costs, and terms.
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize and reorganize workload in order to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time sensitive situations in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to sit, climb, and crouch, as well as lift and move products and materials.
- Be able to demonstrate attention to details and follow through.
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment, as well as random drug and alcohol screenings.
- Proficiency in MS Office (ie Word, Excel, etc).
- Maintain confidentiality of company data
