Currently hiring a Quality Assurance Supervisor in a Food Manufacturing Laboratory. In this specific role you would oversee 2 leads and 10 technicians on night shift. An ideal candidate will have 3 years in a Food Manufacturing lab in Quality Assurance with at least 6 months of experience as a lead or supervisor.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the quality assurance technicians to satisfy external and internal customers.Interface with all internal departments to ensure all quality and food safety standards are met.Resolve quality and food safety problems as they occur.Develop a functional understanding of quality assurance principles, testing, and equipment utilized in the facility.Provide basic maintenance and troubleshooting to lab equipment.Ensure the quality assurance team has all necessary resources; order items as needed.Coach and train quality assurance technicians and teammates across other departments.Counsel, evaluate, and discipline teammates as needed.Attend meetings and professional seminars as needed.Utilize available data to develop and implement continuous improvement projects.Communicate via telephone or email with internal and external customers.Use the systems available to communicate and assess production performance during their shift.Review and sign-off on production, quality, and CCP records and documentation.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsAbility to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.Attention to detail.Ability to work in a team atmosphere and provide essential leadership.High School diploma or equivalent.2 years of supervisory experience.Ability to handle contact with customers, other departments, upper management, and the general public with diplomacy.Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain performance levels under pressure or in stressful situations.Ability to accept the concept of constant improvement and change for improvement.Basic math skills.Candidates interested in learning more about this opportunity can contact the recruiter at (330) ### #### or MAMCDONOUGH @ACTALENTSERVICES.COMAbout ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
