Quality Assurance Assistant - Access Anvil Corp.

Access Anvil Corp. has an immediate opening on our Scott System QA team for a Quality Assurance Assistant. The Quality Assurance Assistant works very closely with the QA Lead, the Engineering Manager and the Operations Manager to ensure that projects are built correctly, with the goal of zero rejects or reworks at the customer site. The Quality Assurance Assistant inspects master molds, work in process, and finished products. This individual works closely with all associates to achieve and maintain the QMS Standards and ISO 9001 certification.

Qualifications:

* Strong Carpentry aptitude.

* Ability to read shop drawings.

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with conflict.

* Attention to detail and strong planning and organizational skills.

* Computer proficiency, including e-mail, word processing and spreadsheet programs.

* Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with moderate supervision.

* Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Experience within an ISO environment preferred but not required.

Access Anvil Corp. is a subsidiary company of The Fort Miller Group, Inc., an associate owned company. Access Anvil was created in 1975 with a focus on the perimeter security industry. In 2019, AAC purchased the assets of Scott System and relocated the business to Greenwich, New York. Scott System is a DBA of Access Anvil and provides standard and custom plastic and urethane formliners to the construction industry. In addition to its formliner product line, Scott System develops and fabricates custom concrete foam formwork and sells its products nationally.
