POSTION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures NPAA's processes and products are in compliance with IATF16949 / ISO9001 Quality standard and requirements at all NPAA sites (Lansing, Cleveland, and Chattanooga).
  • Upgrades and implements Quality Management System, drafting procedures or revising existing SOPs and training employees for proper adoption of new system requirements or assists with other departments updating SOPs.
  • Maintain and organize NPAA's internal quality audit program and external audits with customers and third-party certification and regulatory bodies.
  • Schedules Internal Audits.
  • Schedules audits with Registrar
  • Schedules, conducts, or manages the sample audit.
  • Reports on Audit Findings and assists with the corrective actions.
  • Train Internal Auditors on NPAA Quality Systems.
  • Manage corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Work with Purchasing and other groups to support with the supplier audit.
  • Reviews Supplier Quality Manuals issued by the Customer and ensures NPAA compliance.
  • Complete self-assessment and audit surveys from the customer
  • Assists with any customer requested audits and special audits at all sites.
  • Assists with other corporate and plant audits when requested.
  • Manage the compliance projects at all NPAA sites (Lansing, Cleveland, & Chattanooga) with the help from other members or groups, including
  • Managing or maintaining NPAA Calibration activities and records.
  • Managing or assisting with maintaining NPAA document control system.
  • Managing, conducting, or assisting with MSA evaluations on NPAA inspection methods.
  • Assisting with FMEA, APQP, and PPAP.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Teams as a representative of the Quality department.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Monthly Report on the following items:

  • Audit Findings - corrective actions
  • Audit Schedule – IATF16949 / ISO9001
  • Formal Audit Report

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent working experience.
  • Knowledge and background in IATF16949, ISO9001 and IS014001 requirements and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
  • Internal Auditing Training
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Quality
  • Must have proven success in project management and ability to implement business process improvements affecting multiple departments.
  • Require him or her to travel in US and Mexico.
