Signature Homes is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Drywall Inspector to join our team in our Birmingham, AL market. This role will be assisting with the entire sheetrock process across all of our Birmingham communities. Responsibilities: Manage drywall subcontractor performance and processes, ensuring quality standards are consistently met Assist with new vendor onboarding for interior paint and sheetrock trades Inspect subcontractor sheetrock work to confirm it meets established quality standards Communicate variances and construction discrepancies to builders, ensuring prompt resolution. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Strong knowledge of construction practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints Must be physically able to inspect construction sites including walking properties. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite 3 years of experience in residential construction or related field with a concentration in drywall and painting a huge plus The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent time management abilities. They should also possess strong interpersonal skills, capable of interacting professionally with customers, subcontractors, and team members.
