Description The Quality Assurance Technician/Inspector is responsible for performing the required testing and inspection of injection molded specimens and pellet samples for production, sample, experimental and raw material product types. Work Schedule: 3rd Shift 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM Monday Night - Friday Morning (10-hour shifts, 4 days a week) Responsibilities
- Perform required testing of RTP plastics: Typical testing includes a variety of mechanical properties along with conductivity, flame retardant, ash, moisture, flow, and contamination inspections
- Perform injection molding on test specimens, panels, and pucks
- Maintain accurate records of all testing performed
- Collaborate with QA Manager and to continually work towards the highest quality products
- Participate in training, retraining, and continual improvement processes and methods
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standards
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work process, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
- Excellent attention to detail required
- Ability to perform basic mathematical testing calculations
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to read and follow manuals and procedures
- Must be dependable and have excellent attendance
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed
- Willing and able to work in temperature extremes - hot and cold
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Education and Experience
- High School diploma preferred
- Prior related Thermoplastic injection molding and/or plastics mechanical testing experience preferred
- Familiarity with RTP products preferred
