The QA QC Associate position is an autonomous role involved in the entire course of manufacturing. The associate must be able to work independently to find and solve issues in a fast paced environment. When Specific Duties are not being performed, the General Duties should be ongoing to prevent customer complaints which is critical to the success of our business. The quality processes must remain consistent throughout all hours of operation. Any changes to the quality job function must be approved and updated with this document. General Duties, including but not limited to: • Inspect components before assembly • Inspect the products as they are assembled during the entire process of making • Inspect the finished product at the makers and packers and on the pallets • Train others on quality requirements and re-train as necessary • Shadow the manufacturing team as needed to ensure all products meet or exceed our quality standards • Assist production on all quality related issues
Specific Duties: • Verify raw materials transferred from warehouse to production by type and lot number • Verify each finished good pallet quantity and quality • Verify the quality of the contents of the last case on each pallet (lot number, condition, etc.) • Print and verify labels for production orders • Distribute production orders and labels to production • Perform Pressure Drop, Ventilation, Moisture, Weight and Circumference testing • Record and analyze these results in order to decide whether to pass or reject specific products • Use this data to solve production issues and recommend improvements • Verify all making and packing line changeovers to ensure no mixed product is packed • Complete batch record review and filing • Document and investigate material, product and process nonconformance issues
