Job Description The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to work at our sauces processing facility in Fremont, OH. Successful candidate will be responsible for the incoming inspection and performance of packaging materials and ingredients. Candidate must be detailed oriented and organized, and able to track multiple aspects of a project simultaneously. Currently hiring for second shift. Candidates must be willing to work overtime, including weekends. Starting Pay Rate $26.36/hr., additional shift premium, weekly pay. Responsibilities & Duties: Shall be detail oriented and organized Responsible for leading and motivating their team Must be able to carry out orders pertaining to the operation of the department without direct Supervision Must be able to perform all Quality Assurance lead activities in production areas Must be able to communicate with employees within the department and with other departments, and with packaging material suppliers Must maintain work areas in a clean and safe condition following Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices Must be able to identify areas for improvement and assist in writing or updating procedures Must maintain confidentiality Must follow all departmental and factory safety rules and conform to all Job Safety Analysis Provide effective leadership to the personnel assigned Maintain a thorough understanding of finished goods, net weights and packaging defects Must maintain Kraft Heinz placard program Must effectively assist in the proper setup of capping/sealing/coding equipment Effectively perform audits as required Must be able to use Infinity QS to maintain accurate and timely entries Must maintain application certification for insecticides and rodenticides Must be able to work independently Responsible for collecting, identifying, and reporting substandard packaging material, ingredients, or conditions of trailers transporting these materials Must be able to effectively communicate with maintenance to identify defective material and/or mechanical problems Must effectively lead day to day activities of QA team members, including employee training and evaluation Assist in consumer complaints Perform other duties as assigned including special projects Qualifications: Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment desired Prior experience in Quality a must Ability to multitask and work in a team oriented fast-paced environment Good interpersonal, organizational, presentation and facilitation skills Well-developed written and verbal communication skills Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment, problem solving and decision- making skills Computer Use Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality, preferably in the food industry Must have computer experience Candidates must be available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays Benefits & Compensation Overview: We offer a competitive benefit and compensation package that includes: Medical/Rx Dental Vision Additional incentives: Pet Insurance, (EAP) Employee Assistance Program, Company paid Life Insurance, Company paid Short-term disability (HRA) Health Reimbursement Account or (HSA) Health Savings Account.
