SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises personnel in the Quality Assurance Department. Is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, training, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: assigning work, checking work, discipline, costs, maintaining quality and quantity standards, organizing work, evaluations, prioritizing and delegating work assignments as directed by upper management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or five to ten years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education/experience and knowledge of paperboard manufacturing preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence, effectively present information one-on-one, small groups, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and draw bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
