This role involves coordinating processes, overseeing compliance with internal and external guidelines, and maintaining alignment with industry and organizational benchmarks. Engage in training, development, and audit-related activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain operational efficiency and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and evaluate product and process data for consistency with specifications.Review microbiology test results daily and further investigate high counts.Review load-out data and double check that all loads are within specifications. Review list and track of any out-of-spec. product and distribute to Plant Manager and Assistant Plant Manager.Responsible for training new hires on GMP, HACCP, BIO-SECURITY, and ALLERGEN programs.Responsible for the annual refresher training on GMP, HACCP, BIO-SECURITY, and ALLERGEN programs with all employees.Monitor operational practices and address non-compliance or discrepancies as needed.Lead or support training initiatives and periodic reviews of essential policies and procedures.Facilitate communication and coordination with internal teams and external inspectors or auditors.Manage documentation, reporting, and inventory for critical operational needs.Participate in equipment and process checks to identify and resolve issues.Assist in maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.Supervisory and Team FunctionsThis role includes leadership and guidance responsibilities, including oversight of scheduling, team development, and adherence to company policies. Manage task delegation and performance reviews to maintain an efficient and collaborative work environment.QualificationsEducation and/or experience in a relevant field, with prior leadership experience preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with data management tools and ability to interpret technical information.Capacity to manage multiple tasks and collaborate across departments.Physical and Operational ConsiderationsAbility to perform tasks requiring mobility, occasional lifting, and climbing.Comfortable working with technical equipment and conducting thorough reviews of processes.Compliance with safety and operational protocols is essential.NotesThis position may require periodic travel and flexibility to adjust responsibilities based on operational needs.
