A week in the life of a Quality Assurance Manager:
- Applies process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects.
- Responsible for effective transitioning of existing project teams and the facilitation of project teams in the accomplishment of project activities and objectives.
- Provides group facilitation, interviewing training, and provides additional forms of knowledge transfer.
- Key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration or reengineering efforts.
- Provides daily supervision and direction.
Job Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree with a discipline in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline
- Five (5) years of related experience to:
- Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems
- Conduct quality assurance tests and quality audits
- Prepare and maintain quality assurance documentation
- Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and provide recommendations to address deficiencies
- Oversee project team activities and monitors project taskings and milestones
- Coordinate activities among multiple project teams
- Supervisory experience
- Microsoft Office including proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
