Headquartered in Redmond, Washington, Data I/O is a global company with subsidiary offices in Munich, Germany and Shanghai, China and the leading provider of device programming systems and solutions for memory devices. We are currently seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure product quality on the manufacturing floor. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Quality, assisting them in identifying and correcting quality issues, while alerting production leaders and team members to quality issues.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Validating all product has undergone thorough testing and conforms to cosmetic and engineering specifications.
  • Scheduling internal audits of production capability and ensure quality standards are adhered to.
  • Participate in the training and onboarding of new production employees.
  • Documenting all observed quality defects into a database for analysis.
  • Assisting in production efforts to meet urgent company requirements.
  • Creating documentation alongside production team

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in a quality role in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience working with ERP systems, IFS a plus
  • Knowledge of quality standards (i.e., ISO9001:2015)
  • Experience with troubleshooting electro-mechanical products
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
  • ASQ - QA certification (or relevant certification), a plus
  • Computer skills in MS office suite

The pay range posted is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At Data I/O, team members in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or sales incentive, based on their role. Most are eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance which is set at a percentage of the team member's eligible earnings in the prior year.
