We are seeking a Senior Quality Technician to support our Quality Engineering team. This role requires expertise in SmartScope and the ability to create and train others on inspection programs and work instructions. This is a first shift position (Monday - Friday).

Day to day work tasks are outlined below:
Measurement Systems & Programming:
- Interpret part prints and specifications to write inspection programs for SmartScope or Keyence Vision Systems.
- Program OGP SmartScope
Quality Compliance & Training:
- Author and train operators on inspection work instructions and ISO standards to ensure adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Perform measurements for First Article Inspection Reports and execute Gauge R&R studies to measure OQ/PQ
- Identify part nonconformances or outliers and collaborate with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Press Technicians to implement corrections.
Calibration & Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain calibration schedules for measurement equipment (e.g., OGP SmartScopes, hand tools).
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and third-party vendors for software updates, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
Experience needed to find success in the position:
- At least 7 years of experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical, automotive, aerospace, defense, semiconductors, electronics, chemicals or personal care etc.
- A proven history of writing programs for SmartScope
- Experience with first article inspection and incoming inspection
- Understands Quality Assurance principles and the importance of creating and following process
- Hands on experience with Gauge R&R is required
- Knowledge of GD&T is helpful
- Able to work independently but also enjoys collaborating with colleagues
- Desire to develop professional skills
