Quality Assurance Verification Specialist Job Compensation:
  • Starting $17.45 - $21.82 Per Hour (Depending on Experience).
Quality Assurance Verification Specialist Job Responsibilities:
  • Will perform timely quality reviews/monitoring of FFWR Beneficiary cases using the UMOS Database System or other designated UMOS system in performing quality control measures in eligibility determination, review of required employment and Identification scanned documents, create tools to capture ongoing trends for training and Technical Assistance opportunities.
  • Ensures all intakes, case notes, applications, initial and updated scanned documentation, and beneficiary and staff documentation electronically signed or obtained are complete and entered in the database timely.
  • Will assess and ensure compliance with PII (personal identifiable information) and troubleshoot Beneficiary intakes to support the FFWR Staff/subrecipients.
  • Using the database system, maintain required documentation, identify, and resolve FFWR inquiries and/or problems, and submit a complete application, including proper documentation to accounting for payment processing.
  • Consistently provide performance-related feedback and coaching to program staff and sub recipients with a focus on customer services, service and accuracy delivery, and policy/process execution in order to enhance expertise and achieve FFWR outcomes.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge of the FFWR program regulations, policies, and procedures by attending and participating in all required training/workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating.
  • Assist with data collection and reporting requirements under the FFWR program in coordination with MYCAP and AYEON data review, validation, and error correction to ensure timely response to internal/external customer/funding source information/reporting needs.
  • Establish and maintain an effective data collection and reporting system to communicate quality assurance outcomes.
  • Participate in clean-up systems projects or large-scale systems-related errors and provide program staff with accurate systems-related manuals and/or updated policies/procedures.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance program audits and make written recommendations to management based on the audit findings.
  • Communicate trend information and recommend possible solutions to leadership, training, and internal partners for process/performance improvement.
  • Conduct routine coaching interactions for program staff and Subrecipients to support and drive performance expectations through written and verbal communication with colleagues and leadership.
  • Manage and/or participate in special projects and other duties based on program needs, as assigned by QA leadership.
  • Conduct group monitoring and calibration sessions involving QA teams and leadership.
  • Display effective time management to accurately conduct QA reviews in a timely fashion while managing other priorities as assigned.
  • Attend meetings, seminars, and workshops, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Quality Assurance Verification Specialist Job Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or two years of post-secondary education in social science, human services, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least three years' experience in determining eligibility and/or case management (one year of additional experience may be substituted with one year of education for up to 2 years).
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (oral and written)
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365).
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Must have a reliable car, a valid driver's license, and adequate insurance.
  • Ability to work irregular and/or flexible hours.
