Job Description:Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Quality Compliance Manager near Allerton, IA.\n\nDirect Hire\nShift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm\nCompensation: DOE \n\nRelocation package/ assistance provided\n\nWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Compliance Manager to join our team in Allerton, Iowa. This critical role will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product safety and quality in compliance with local, state, and national regulatory requirements.\nRole Responsibilities:\n\n\n\tCreate and review regulatory compliance documentation.\n\tCoordinate the development, review, and implementation of policies and procedures in response to new laws and regulations.\n\tDesign and coordinate the preparation and review of training materials and communication tools to ensure compliance.\n\tFile regulatory reports and documentation.\n\tLead training and rollout of new or updated policies when required.\n\tDevelop and maintain HACCP procedures, SOPs, SSOPs, Food Safety Plans, and other requirements in compliance with the FSMA.\n\tMaintain state certification and permits for processing.\n\tInterface with regulatory agencies (PDA, FDA), and manage relationships with organic, kosher, and halal certification bodies.\n\tLead regulatory, customer, and third-party audits, managing audit responses and findings.\n\tConduct or manage internal audits to confirm compliance with SQF and other applicable requirements.\n\tOversee the Customer Complaint Program, including responses to customers.\n\tDevelop and maintain the Environmental Monitoring Program and pest control program in collaboration with third-party providers.\n\tManage direct reports, setting and overseeing execution of goals and objectives.\n\tOversee QA laboratory activities, providing daily work coordination and managing instrument calibration and maintenance.\n\tEnsure compliance with procedures.\n\tDevelop methods for the disposition of aged and non-conforming materials, reviewing investigations related to out-of-specification results.\n\tFacilitate the Supplier Approval Program with responsibility for facility risk assessment and approval of materials.\n\tMaintain the Food Safety System and Quality Plan.\n\tOversee batch record review and certification of analysis.\n\tReport to management on the Quality Management System's effectiveness.\n\tImplement effective Root Cause Analysis and oversee the Corrective & Preventive Action Plan.\n\tChampion continuous improvement in all Quality processes.\n\n\nSkills & Qualifications:\n\n\n\tBachelor's Degree in Quality, Food Science, or a related field preferred.\n\tMinimum five years of experience in a Quality Control Laboratory and three to five years in Quality Management with demonstrated leadership.\n\tWorking knowledge of cGMP for Food, testing methodologies, and manufacturing practices per 21CFR 117.\n\tExcellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.\n\tCertifications in HACCP, FSPCA Preventive Controls and SQF preferred.\n\tTraining in environmental monitoring, auditing, and statistical process control.\n\tAbility to work independently, organize tasks, and manage workload.\n\tAbility to interpret customer requirements and regulations and apply them to our products and processes.\n\tInfant Formula or Food manufacturing experience preferred.\n\tPhysical ability to lift 50 lb./25 kg, use ladders, and perform manual labor.\n\n\nBenefits:\n\n\n\tRelocation support for candidates moving to Allerton, IA.\n\tDiscretionary performance-based annual cash bonus.\n\tCompany equity participation.\n\tComprehensive medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.\n\n\nApply today to join our team and play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance in our manufacturing processes.\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\tAs part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
