The primary product developed and manufactured in the East Syracuse facility is dedicated to the wind turbine / renewable energy sector.
Job DescriptionThe Quality Control Analyst I duties would entail, but are not limited to:
- Partnering with manufacturing teams and leaders
- Ensure quality is being maintained in all factors involved in production
- Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
- Perform product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs
- Participate in audits, Analyze and maintain data, update and report metrics, lead process improvements
- Drive corrective actions, handle data maintenance, revise specs and procedures, process and compliance support
- Assist and train personnel
The ideal candidate would need the following skills and abilities: - Ability to run and program CMM (Zeiss preferred)
- Maintain calibration of measurement equipment
- Inspect parts using engineering drawings
- Maintain MRB area
- Dependable - will do tasks thoroughly to completion
- Experience within a production manufacturing (assembly) setting preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a professional setting & with team members, from Engr /Quality to Production Operators
- Ability to work safely on a production floor environment.
- Ability to communicate issues to either the production floor or to manufacturing engineering.
- Basic computer skills - ability to enter information into computer system
- Initiative to work with minimum supervision & manage overall task
