Job Description
Our Livonia Service Center is hiring a Quality Control Auditor, an essential position in the supply chain. If you have quality experience in an industrial setting, can sweat through 8-hours of repetitive heavy lifting, and a have strong work ethic, a Quality Control position with CHEP could be a great fit!
$18/hour starting wage
1st shift - Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm

Lifts pallets for inspection to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Inspect pallets for defects, damages, and inconsistencies in materials or assembly.
Utilize tools and equipment to correct minor issues and verify dimensions, weight, and other quality parameters of pallets.
Identify and document any deviations from quality standards.
Communicates inspections results and quality issues with production teams and supervisors.
Adheres to PCP standards and guidelines.
Partners with Quality Lead to ensure plant compliance of quality practices and continuous and improvement initiatives.
Provide support during audits and inspections.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily.
Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
Previous experience in quality control or inspection
Familiarity with pallet materials.
Proficiency in using tools and equipment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to complete task within a timely manner with high attention to detail.
Ability to understand and communicate information is essential. Experience
Previous experience working in an industrial, fast paced environment with industrial equipment.
