Description

The Quality Control Engineer / Tech will:

  • Program and operate Zeiss CMM using Calypso software.
  • Program and operate Faro Arm with Geomagic, Control X, and SolidWorks software.
  • Inspect parts, fixtures, and products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Create First Article Inspections (FAIs), ballooned reports, SCARs, PPAPs, and other documentation as required.
  • Assist sales with project estimates and plans.
  • Be willing to work extended hours when necessary for high-priority projects.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to resolve quality issues.
  • On-site at our Derry, NH facility

Profile

  • Associate degree or 2-5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing quality control.
  • Proficiency in GD&T/Y14.5M standards.
  • Skilled in programming and operating CMM (Zeiss with Calypso software).
  • Experience with laser scanning tools like Faro Arm, Geomagic, Control X, and SolidWorks.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and engineering software.
  • Knowledge of ISO:9001 quality systems and FAI documentation processes.
  • Ability to create SCARs, PPAPs, ballooned reports, and other customer-specified documentation.
  • Effective organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis and process improvement.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • US Citizenship or eligibility to work with ITAR and CUI compliance.
  • Quality certifications, Lean Six Sigma, or CMM/laser scanning certifications preferred.
