Quality Control Inspector - AJ Manufacturing Co. : Job Details

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team! You will perform in-process inspections to determine the quality of products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare FAI report and communicate with shop floor on a day to day basis to establish product quality
• Prepare PPAP reports & Control Plan under supervision
• Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations under limited supervision
• Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
• Participate in routine visual inspections at warehouse
• Perform incoming inspection and communicate with vendors on a daily basis
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• 3-5 Years of previous work experience in quality control in a machine shop environment
• Experience with hand tool industry is a plus
• Blueprint reading is a must
• Well versed in using Caliper, Micrometer and Optical Comparator
• Associates Degree Preferred
• Forklift Experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to walk and stand for most of the workday and have the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Able to drive between multiple locations
