This is a Job Description for a Quality Control Inspector in Madison, MississippiSummary: The Quality Control (QC) In-Process Inspector is responsible for performing inspections and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company standards during the overhaul and repair of aviation components. This role involves inspecting components at various stages of the repair process to ensure they meet specified requirements and quality standardsDuties & Responsibilities:Conduct inspections at various stages of the repair and overhaul process to ensure components meet FAA regulations, company standards, and customer specifications. Verify dimensions, tolerances, and functionality of components using precision measuring instruments and test equipment. Accurately document inspection results, including discrepancies, non-conformities, and any corrective actions taken. Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and findings in compliance with FAA and company requirements. Prepare and submit inspection reports to the Quality Control Manager and other relevant departments. Ensure all inspections are conducted in accordance with FAA regulations, AS9100, AS9110 standards, and company procedures. Stay updated on changes to FAA regulations and industry standards, implementing changes in inspection processes as required. Work closely with operations, engineering, and quality assurance teams to address and resolve quality issues. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the overhaul and repair processes based on inspection findings. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with industry best practices and advancements in inspection technology.
