The quality control inspector will be responsible for the documentation of all variable and attribute results, and will assist in the development of standardized work instructions / procedures in accordance with our Quality Management System. This role will be actively engaged in many levels of the organization and must be an excellent communicator and educator of GD&T and proper inspection techniques.To be successful in this position:· Use fixed or variable measuring instruments to inspect parts, products and/or processes, to ensure conformance with standards. Instruments include, but are not limited to gage blocks, height gages, dial indicators, micrometers and bore gages· Perform compliance verifications of incoming supplier materials· Fill out inspection sheets and ready approved parts for assembly· Demonstrate experience with reading and understanding engineering drawings, models, work instructions and specifications· Relay data found to the Quality Engineer, who then make any necessary decisions.· Have good problem solving and troubleshooting approach· Be collaborative and team orientedPreferred Education / Training / Experience:· Associate degree or equivalent technical school and/or minimum 3 years' experience and/or training· Combination of education and experience considered· Training and application of measurement using hand tools· Experience with GD&T/blueprint reading to identify features to be measured, and type of instruments best suited for those measurements.Computer Skills:· Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)· Outlook· SAP a plusTravel Requirements:· No travel requiredThe salary range in this posting depends on qualifications and experience.
