Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Quality Control Inspector opportunity in Eunice, NM at the Urenco USA (UUSA) National Enrichment Facility. Work Location: On-Site at Urenco Per Diem is available for those who qualify. Citizenship: United States Citizenship required. Duration of Assignment: 2-4 monthsMultiple positions available. Urenco USA (UUSA) National Enrichment Facility, operated by Louisiana Energy Services LLC, is the only commercial enrichment facility operating in the US, and is located in Eunice, New Mexico. Duties:
  • Seeking Mechanical/Visual QC inspectors to perform actual measurements of components in the field and verify transposition of previous measurements into new packages.
  • Duties may include performing Ultrasonic Thickness Testing measurements.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
  • 2 to 10+ years of experience performing Mechanical Testing (MT) and/or Visual Testing (VT)
  • Must be certified in discipline (material, coding, welding, civil and concrete).
  • Must have commercial nuclear or DOE experience working with NQA-1
  • Experienced with certification processes within the technical industry
  • Experienced in working with Quality Control Processes and Plans
  • Experienced in reviewing Lifetime Quality Records within a regulated industry
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Good reporting and writing skills
  • Proven work experience of welding processes and inspections
  • Knowledge and understanding of various NDT techniques
  • Knowledge of various inspection techniques using inspection equipment such as, borescope, calipers, inspection gauges, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the required quality standards
